This is a reminder posting abut Race Night 3, We are starting at 6:30 at the Gainesville Raceway[(352) 377-0046] Google Maps for directions. 11211 N County Road 225, Gainesville, FL 32609.

If it rains contact Gainesville Raceway to see what the status of the event is.

$20 to race, $5 to enter but not race, due in cash at the gate.

I hope everyone has fun, see you there, look for the silver Prius with the club lettering. If any Toyota hybrid owners need me to show them how to manually charge the battery to green off of the engine see me at the event.

I had a blast, pictures come later. This was a lower turnout overall, not just hybrids and club members, I'm still hoping to see another hybrid out there in the future (or an EV). I'm assuming people didn't want to be out in the heat, or thought we'd be rained out tonight. The Prius was performing poorly in all aspects when compared to Race Night 2, but the temperature was 91 degrees Fahrenheit most of the night and dropped to 86 degrees Fahrenheit closer to the last run. Tonight as well as the past two race nights were very educational, dispelled a few myths and we had fun. I wanted to thank the Z club and the GTO club for making me look like I was moving backwards tonight.
