"That little car can't hold enough stuff for me to drive to and from work every day." I hear this comment all the time about the Prius hatchback. I counter with this photo gallery after the jump.

Sunday, my brother and I went to Orlando for my birthday, I once again had the pleasure of travelling an extended distance with some nice hybrid owners.

This is an oldie, I know but its worth watching again. This video from the History Channel shows the AC Propulsion TZero, handing a Dodge Viper its internal combustion accessories. Electric Vehicles have all of their torque from a standstill whereas an internal combustion vehicle hast to spin up to an appreciable speed to generate the same kinds of torque. People were still surprised in the present day when my Prius was pulling appreciable times in the quarter mile with the ambient temperature at 90 degrees fahrenheit. These kind of demonstrations help to show that you don't have to be able to hear a vehicle 1/4 mile away for it to have a fair amount of power packed away. Lets not forget that all of that noise is waste energy just like the waste heat, energy that could have been used to propel the vehicle or just conserved.

After hearing about Al Gore III and the speeding Prius, and with Race Night 3 still fresh in his mind; My brother wasn't taking any chances riding with me.
As yet another tale of celebrity spawn gone wild, the arrest Wednesday of Albert Gore III - son of the former vice president - on suspicion of drug possession was routine except for one rather mind-blowing detail: Gore was clocked in a blue Toyota Prius hybrid traveling on the southbound 5 Freeway in Orange County in excess of 100 mph. "One hundred and five, actually," said Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino.

I wanted to come here tonight and write some smarmy review of the movie Transformers, but I can't. Transformers was a great movie and this will be one of the few movies I watch more than once in the theaters. Normally I'll watch a movie once and if I liked it I'll watch it again as a home video or a rental.
Yes the movie is one huge General Motors ad, but that's OK because the movie while overstuffed with product placement will hold your attention elsewhere. Besides there is one Toyota Prius, a Dodge Charger Police Interceptor, and plenty of placements for Yahoo! and EBay.

A few weeks ago while I was typing up my on-site notes at work, on my T-Mobile Wing the device threw me a tilde (~). This confused me because this device doesn't have a tilde key and I wasn't working in the symbol keypad. About two weeks later I was able to get the device to type another symbol that isn't shown on the keyboard, thankfully I was texting and not at work, so after a few minutes of experimenting I was able to chart all of the alternate keys that are available on the Wing.
So what is the T-Mobile Wing? The Wing is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone that has a sliding keyboard, WIFI, bluetooth, and Microsoft Voice command built in. Voice command lets you perform certain tasks by voice without a training session like most phones with voice control require. Price was $299 at launch.
Chart of alt keys and instructions after the jump.
