Thanks to several spammers, trackbacks have been disabled. All trackbacks have been removed, all 3500+. My finger is actually numb from pressing delete so many times.
Now they've made me rant.
This is yet another example of the scum of the marketing world destroying technology designed to help people get together.
If I had the time I'd track down and invoice every one of those buggers. Stealing from my readers, or from me will not be tolerated. That bandwidth and drive space was reserved for the enjoyment of my guests.
These scumbags should man-up and find out legitimate sources of new customers. People actually want their products, all they have to do is put up a Google or Microsoft adcenter ad that says: "Free pills here", or "People doing private things here", the cost is minimal and they would get their money back plus profit.

Yesterday,
returning with my mother and a friend from a trip to South Carolina, I had the
pleasure of traveling for an extended distance with some nice hybrid owners.

Autoline Detroit reports: 3/4
Today on Autoline Detroit, a program on the speed channel, John McElroy Shares his thoughts on the new EPA ratings for 2008. I agree that we need to better educate drivers here in America on how to drive more efficiently, I also feel the EPA fuel economy calculations needed reworking. We can't forget that the purpose of the EPA ratings was to compare vehicles to similar vehicles, not to predict the real world results you and I would achieve or to compare vehicles outside of their classes. How do you feel about the current and future rating systems? What about current lack of awareness by the average American driver on what impacts their fuel economy?
A final thought before we go. For the 2008 model year, that is on the new cars coming out this year, the EPA is going to lower the fuel economy label on most vehicles, by about 3 miles a gallon. That's because most drivers don't get the kind of fuel economy the label says that they should, but most drivers can't match that label because of the way they drive. Checking the air pressure in the tires, by accelerating a little bit more smoothly, and by concentrating on maintaining the momentum, most people could improve fuel economy by 10%, but rather than teach people how to match the EPA label, or even beat it, we're going to dumb that label down so people are satisfied with the fuel economy that the get. I think it's too bad because if we taught people how to drive more efficiently it'd have a massive impact on the amount of oil that we use.

It looks like the success of Wii has taken many publishers by surprise
and we've already heard how EA is ramping up Wii support.
In yesterday's Activision investor confernence call CEO Mike Griffith
confirmed the publisher was looking to bring Guitar Hero to Nintendo
platforms.
"The key difference in our strategy versus the prior cycle, is that
in addition to full support on Sony and Microsoft platforms, we will
aggressively target the Nintendo platforms consistent with our
multi-platform strategy and Nintendo’s expected growth," Griffith said.
"In fiscal 2008, we will double our offerings on the DS and the Wii,
including Spider-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and Guitar Hero."

Thats right kids, Microsoft announced late last night that the "new" version of mobile will be coming to a cell phone near you. What does that mean however? That means that a bunch of new cool features are headed to that cell phone near you. Apparently those people without touch screens like one of the Motorola's will be able to edit documents for the first time! Microsoft will put the new system on display codenamed Crossbow at the 3G conference.
More an accumulation of new features than a ground-up rewrite of the
operating system, Windows Mobile 6 lets owners of devices without
touchscreens (such as the Motorola Q) edit Microsoft Office documents
for the first time, and offers tight integration with both Windows Live and Microsoft Exchange 2007 servers. The system's PIM, Web browser, and other applications have all received upgrades.
The core of the system will remain the same so nothing new there.
