Are Macs as safe as they once were? Or are Macs the new target of malware authors and hackers? As reported on WSJ.com
"We've been made aware that a small number of Web sites attempt to trick Mac OS X users to install malicious software on their Macs," said Apple spokeswoman Lynn Fox. "Apple has a great track record for keeping Mac OS X users secure, and as always, we encourage people to install software only from trusted sources." I guess that's exactly what we will have to do, "stay tuned". If hackers start picking off Macs at a rapid rate, I wonder how Apple will deal with this new threat and blow to one of its "unofficial" claims of virus/maleware immunity. Brandon M. Langston
